Two Kingdoms
“He has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son He loves” (Colossians 1:13 CSB).
Jesus willingly died in our place, and by His shed blood we have been redeemed from the Kingdom of darkness (Satan’s Kingdom) and translated into His Kingdom of light (God’s Heavenly Kingdom).
If you have not accepted God’s gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, you are still living in darkness. Satan and his evil spirits still have a claim against you and power over you because you have not accepted the blood of Jesus shed for you.
“This is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil” (John 3:19).
There are two kingdoms, Satan’s and God’s. And unless you receive God’s gift of salvation, through the shed blood of Jesus, you will continue to live in darkness and if you die you will die in your sin and go to Hell.
You can only overcome Satan and the kingdom of darkness by the Blood of Jesus and by proclaiming your testimony, that is - what He (Jesus) has done in your life (your testimony). It’s ALL about Jesus! For His glory!
It is written in Revelation 12:11:
“They conquered him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.”
Jesus is the only one who can give us life. Our sins, if not covered by His blood, separate us from God, bring death and eternity in Hell.
“But your iniquities are separating you from your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not listen” (Isaiah 59:2).
Jesus has shown His measureless love for us by the price He paid on the cross, by shedding His blood.
He bought us back (redeemed us) from the kingdom of Satan, has made a way for the forgiveness of our sins and transferred us into Life eternal in His Kingdom of life, love, and light.
The blood of Jesus is powerful!
Through His blood we have access to the presence of God. Through His blood we are redeemed from the kingdom of darkness and all our sins are forgiven. Through His blood we are justified, not guilty, and made righteous. Through His blood we are made new, sanctified and cleansed. Through His blood we receive eternal life in His heavenly kingdom.
If you want to live in the kingdom of God and be redeemed out of the kingdom of Satan, you must receive the gift of salvation offered to you through Jesus’ sacrifice. It is a gift to you; you cannot earn it or buy it. It is a free gift to you. There is no other way. No good deeds, not by being a good person, or trying your best. Only by being born again and through the blood of Jesus can you enter the Kingdom of God.
“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” – John 14:6
You can accept God’s gift of salvation today. Come to Jesus just as you are; You can be born again into His Heavenly Kingdom and receive a new life.
The Bible tells us: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
If you are truly sorrowful in your heart for the sins you have committed against the Lord, and want to be cleansed by His blood, Repent (have a change of mind, turn away from your sinful way of life) and ask the Lord Jesus to come into your heart and life. Tell Him you that you know you are a sinner and need Him to be your Savior. Ask Him for forgiveness of your sins and tell Him you want to be born again and be transformed into a new person through His Spirit and covered by His blood.
“For [godly] sorrow that is in accord with the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but worldly sorrow [the hopeless sorrow of those who do not believe] produces death” (2 Corinthians 7:10 AMP).
When you accept Jesus as your Savior, Satan and his kingdom of darkness no longer has a legal right of authority over you. As a child of God, you are given spiritual weapons to use against the kingdom of darkness (read Ephesians 6: 10-20).
Pray daily and as often as possible, pray constantly in your heart, speak to the Lord. Read and study the Bible. One of your weapons in spiritual warfare is the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God.
Read His word, pray His word, and Obey His word!
“But prove yourselves doers of the word [actively and continually obeying God’s precepts], and not merely listeners [who hear the word but fail to internalize its meaning], deluding yourselves [by unsound reasoning contrary to the truth]”
(James 1:22 AMP).
Come out of the kingdom of darkness! And receive a new life with Christ Jesus in His Kingdom of light!
Romans 10:9-10 AMP:
“If you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous – being freed of guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.
