On Solid Ground
A Parable/ A Hymn/ A Poem
“He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He” (Deut. 31:4 NKJV). A Parable by Jesus Christ– “Build on the Rock” Matthew 7:24-27 NKJV “Therefore, whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But whoever who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” If you want stability in your life, you need a strong and sturdy foundation. The Bible, the Word of God, is that strong and sturdy foundation. The Bible teaches us how to live; it provides all that we need to know about how to live a life that pleases the LORD. The Word of God teaches us knowledge and wisdom, and the Holy Spirit gives us understanding and helps us apply the spiritual truth of what the Word reveals to us. When troubles come (and they will)… Be like the wise man; Make sure you have Built your life on the strong, stable, and sturdy Word of God, and you will have a solid foundation. A foolish man is unwilling to do so.

A Poem – “On Solid Ground” written by Me (Micki 😊) Turn now from wicked ways Stop living as sins’ slave. Seek The LORD and give Him praise Jesus Christ is mighty to save. Distractions abound Evil is lurking around, People trading truth for lies Seeing with blind eyes. The one that has received God’s grace He has not a spirit of fear, Dwelling in the secret place Knowing His LORD will soon appear. The man who has peace within While chaos is all around, The world cannot judge nor condemn For He is standing on solid ground. “Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near” (Isaiah 55:6 NKJV).
